Booking Terms and Conditions
Effective date: 10 June 2026
These Terms and Conditions apply to all bookings made for Higher Healing Energy workshops, retreats, and programmes. By paying a deposit or booking fee, you confirm that you have read and accepted these terms.
1. About Us Higher Healing Energy is co-founded by Suzanne Chalkley and Elma McEneaney, operating across Ireland and the United Kingdom. Contact us at the details below at section 14.
2. Securing Your Place A non-refundable deposit is required to secure your place at any Higher Healing Energy event. Your booking is not confirmed until your deposit has been received and you have been sent a confirmation. Your deposit is non-refundable under any circumstances, including if you are unable to attend.
3. Balance Payment The remaining balance of your booking fee is due in full before the date of the workshop or retreat. The specific payment deadline will be confirmed in your booking confirmation or event information. If the balance is not received by the stated deadline, Higher Healing Energy reserves the right to release your place and offer it to another participant. Your deposit will not be refunded in this circumstance.
4. Payment Methods Payment methods accepted will be confirmed at the time of booking. All prices are quoted in pounds sterling (£) unless otherwise stated.
5. Cancellation by You If you need to cancel your booking: Your deposit is non-refundable in all cases. If you cancel more than 14 days before the event, any balance paid over and above the deposit will be refunded in full. If you cancel within 14 days of the event, no refund of any amount will be given. In exceptional circumstances, at our sole discretion, we may offer a credit towards a future event.
6. Transferring Your Place If you are unable to attend, you may transfer your place to another person by notifying us at least 7 days before the event. The person taking your place will be required to complete any required health questionnaires or consent forms before attending.
7. Cancellation or Changes by Us Higher Healing Energy reserves the right to cancel or reschedule any event due to circumstances outside our control, insufficient bookings, facilitator illness, or venue issues. If we cancel an event: You will be offered a full refund of all amounts paid, including the deposit. Alternatively, you may transfer your booking to a rescheduled date or future event of equivalent value.
Higher Healing Energy is not responsible for any travel, accommodation, or other costs incurred by participants in connection with a cancelled event.
8. Health, Safety & Suitability Many of our events involve active healing modalities including breathwork, sound healing, somatic release, and energy work. You are responsible for assessing whether these activities are appropriate for you. A health questionnaire will be provided prior to attendance. You must complete it honestly and in full. It is your responsibility to disclose any relevant physical or mental health conditions, including but not limited to: Cardiovascular conditions Epilepsy or seizure disorders Severe anxiety, psychosis, or recent trauma Pregnancy Any condition for which you are under active medical treatment We reserve the right to refuse participation if we reasonably believe that attendance may pose a risk to your health or the wellbeing of others. In such circumstances, a refund of any balance paid (but not the deposit) will be given. Higher Healing Energy and its facilitators are not medical practitioners. Nothing offered at our events constitutes medical diagnosis, treatment, or advice. Always consult a qualified healthcare professional for medical concerns.
9. Photographs & Recording We may occasionally take photographs or video footage at events for use in our promotional materials. You will be informed of this in advance. If you do not wish to be photographed or filmed, please notify us before the event and we will respect your wishes. Participants may not photograph, film, or record facilitators or other participants without explicit consent.
10. Intellectual Property All content shared at Higher Healing Energy events — including scripts, techniques, materials, and methodologies — is the intellectual property of Higher Healing Energy and its facilitators. It may not be recorded, reproduced, or distributed without our prior written permission.
11. Limitation of Liability Higher Healing Energy’s liability to you is limited to the amount you have paid for your booking. We are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from your attendance at or inability to attend an event. Nothing in these terms limits or excludes any liability that cannot be excluded by law.
12. Privacy We will process your personal data in accordance with our Privacy Notice, available on our website at www.higherhealingenergy.com. By booking, you consent to us holding and using your data for the purposes of managing your booking and communicating with you about your attendance.
13. Governing Law These terms are governed by the laws of Northern Ireland. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Northern Ireland.
